What type of marker/paint and glue would work on a molded wood toilet seat?

So I wanted to decorate a couple of toilet seats scrapbook style to give to my friends as gag gifts, but I can't figure out what I could use to decorate it with, because the toilet seat is really smooth and I'm afraid anything glue on it will fall off.

Enamel paints should work, like those sold for painting model airplanes and cars. E6000 silicone adhesive (sold in hardware and craft stores in a gray tube) will work on a slick surface - it works on glass. But you have to really clean the surface -
