Can a car radiator leak be fixed using plumbers solder and a propane torch?

The radiator in my car has a leak in the flutes I am trying to fix it myself. Can I use plumbers solder and a propane torch to do the job?
If done properly. But radiators are fragile and can be easily damaged (ruined) if done incorrectly. I have replaced plenty of those radiators.
